The Seaward Hotel » Beach front Hotel & Guest Accommodation in Weston-super-Mare

Weston super Mare has one of the longest sandy beaches in the UK and has won an award for cleanliness, safety and water quality for the past nine years, making it a lovely beach to enjoy.

Weston also has the second highest tidal range in the world. Averaging 11/13 metres but anything up to 15 metres can be expected in the right conditions.

We want you to enjoy your holiday, and be aware that there are specific dangers with soft sand and mud, not to mention the sea itself. We ask that you supervise children at all times and observe the safety signs on the seafront and the beach.

Remember that it is dangerous to approach the water at low tide and any inflatable craft you use in the water should be tethered when used in the channel.

When parking on the beach always check the time and height of the tide (vehicles can and do get stuck in the mud) and drivers are required to obey the 15mph speed limit at all times.

Quad bikes and other motorised bikes are not permitted on the beach and all vehicles are prohibited from entering the sand dunes.
